Gray siding with white trim and black roof shingles. In fact a high end kynar 500 white metal roof is energy star rated and classified as a cool roof by the cool roof rating council. Red brick is sharp with a black or a vivid or dark blue roof and white trim gray brown or black roofs look good with green siding. Gray black darker shades of brown and some softer shades of green think celadon or grayish green can all look lovely with a red brick or similar home.

Red brick is the masonry of choice for the front porch along with white columns and a bronze metal porch roof. I just replaced my roof on my red brick ranch house. If your house is red or white brick and you plan to use grey shingles on your roof add black or grey shutters and a black or grey door to tie the whole thing together. It has grey tones with hints of red.

Such a roof can be reasonably expected to be some 50 to 60 degrees cooler than a dark color asphalt shingles roof. The best gray house color schemes are really all about the surrounding colors and materials. Red bricks and white bricks tend to look much better with grey shingles than some other shades of brick. I hated to use black too stark and heat absorbing and i was thinking charcoal grey which would have been a safe choice.

Black dark gray or brown shingles work with a red clapboard country home and can top red brick attractively. We drove all over the place looking st new roofs. Here we see a fantastic example.
